I'll be the first one to tell you that I don't believe in garnishes that you can't eat. We were taught this in school and it was drilled into our heads while working in restaurants that it is pointless to do this. Also, it's a waste of food! Of course, when I saw these beautiful meyer lemons, I knew that I had to pick them up; and like most things I buy, I would figure out what to do with it later. Meyer lemons are not as tart as regular lemons, and are sweeter. They work well in sweet and ... continue reading...
Cashew Chicken Salad + Ginger Peanut Dressing
I showed this quick dinner I made before a zumba class, and got so much great feedback that I had to write-up the recipe for you guys! If you're not following me on instagram yet, you should! Tomato and fennel go really well together and ... continue reading...

The beauty of this type of condiment is that you could really dial-up or down on the amounts based on which ones you like. My family is not big on spice (except my 1-year-old seems to tolerate it!) so I ... continue reading...
20 Minute Chicken with Apricot + Pistachios

Enter this last-minute creation! The reason why this recipe works is because it's all about texture and viscosity here. The creamy sauce drapes the seared chicken breasts, and the sweet yet tart flavor of the apricots cuts through the heaviness of the coconut milk. The pistachios and dried fruit add a ... continue reading...
