It seems there are a million ways to make chicken, but not so many when it comes to fish. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas. This recipe is inspired by Giada De Laurentiis and it is great because it is so easy and deliciously tangy.
Cod With Chive Mustard Sauce
4 cod fillets (any white fish can work)
Drizzle of olive oil and few pats of butter
3 tsp onion powder
3 tsp garlic powder
Sauce
1- 5.3 oz container of plain greek yogurt
2 tsp dijon mustard (or try sriracha)
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 Tbsp chopped chives (can substitute scallions)
2 tsp honey
salt and pepper, to taste
1. Mix the sauce ingredients and allow to stand (it tastes better as it sits)
2. Season the fish with onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper. Broil with oil and butter until opaque and golden brown. (about 7 minutes or so) Pour sauce over fish and serve.
